Das Masterstudium Kunstgeschichte baut auf dem Bachelorstudium auf und vertieft die Kenntnisse der Studierenden. Es bietet die Möglichkeit zur Spezialisierung durch überfakultäre Masterstudien und Joint Programmes an der Universität Graz. Die Studierenden haben die Chance, ihre Ausbildung individuell zu gestalten und ihre Kenntnisse in verschiedenen Kunstbereichen zu erweitern. Die Masterabsolvent:innen sind für höhere Positionen im Kunst- und Kulturbereich qualifiziert.
Im Masterstudium Kunstgeschichte wird ein intensiv vertieftes Wissen über moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst vermittelt. Die Studierenden beschäftigen sich mit den verschiedenen Aspekten und Fragestellungen der Kunstgeschichte, insbesondere in Bezug auf die moderne und gegenwärtige Kunst.
Das Programm umfasst 4 Semester und ist in module aufgeteilt, die sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Ansätze beinhalten. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, eine Abschlussarbeit zu verfassen, die das Erlernte in einer eigenständigen Forschung umsetzt.
Absolvent:innen erwerben umfassende Kompetenzen in der kunstwissenschaftlichen Analyse und Interpretation von Kunstwerken. Sie entwickeln Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Forschung, kritisches Denken und Projektmanagement.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
