How we verify programs
The hardest part of applying to Austria from abroad is trusting what you read. Here's exactly what the Verified badge means — and what it doesn't.
Checked against the official state registry
Every listing is matched nightly against the Austrian science ministry's official study registry (the data behind studienwahl.at). When a program matches, its degree level, duration, ECTS, and location are confirmed from the state source — that's the "Registry-verified" badge.
Reviewed by a human
The gold "Verified" badge goes further: a person checks the language of instruction, tuition, and entry requirements against the university's own page before a program earns it. Listings that match nothing their university officially offers are removed from the finder entirely.
Refreshed automatically
Application deadlines and intake windows are rolled forward every admission cycle and the registry match reruns nightly, because a stale deadline is worse than no deadline. Each program records when it was last updated.
What it doesn't replace
Verified means we checked the details against the official source — it is not a guarantee or an admission decision. Universities can change fees, deadlines, and requirements at any time. Always confirm the final details on the official program page before you apply.
