The Doctoral Programme of Natural Science at the University of Graz focuses on developing Independent research skills and methodological expertise. The Doctoral Programme in Natural Sciences focuses on developing theoretical understanding and methodological skills in academic research within the natural sciences. Students engage with topics such as hypothesis development, experimental design, and analytical methods, addressing both living and non-living entities.
This full-time program is structured over six semesters, culminating in the completion of a doctoral thesis. Students are expected to involve in interdisciplinary research collaborations and participate in the relevant doctoral schools.
Graduates acquire the ability to conduct independent research, engage in academic networking, and critically evaluate complex scientific ideas. They are trained to synthesize information that relates to current academic discourse.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
