Das Masterstudium Klassische Philologie baut direkt auf dem Bachelorstudium auf und bietet eine Vertiefung der Kenntnisse in den Sprachen und Literaturen des klassischen Altertums. Studierende haben die Möglichkeit, an überfakultären Studiengängen oder Joint Programmes teilzunehmen, um ihre Ausbildung zu spezialisieren. Dieses Programm fördert das Verständnis für die kulturellen und literarischen Kontexte und bereitet die Absolventen auf anspruchsvolle Tätigkeiten in der Forschung und Lehre vor.
Im Masterstudium Klassische Philologie studierst du literarische Texte auf hohem Reflexionsniveau und erwirbst Kenntnisse zur frühen griechischen und lateinischen Sprachgeschichte sowie zur Rezeption antiker Texte in verschiedenen Medien.
Das Programm ist auf 4 Semester angelegt und ermöglicht individuelle Schwerpunktsetzungen sowie interdisziplinäre Vernetzungen mit Alter Geschichte, Archäologie und moderner Literaturwissenschaft.
Nach dem Abschluss bist du befähigt, eigenverantwortlich zu forschen und wissenschaftliche Tätigkeiten in der Gräzistik und Latinistik zu übernehmen. Du gewinnst tiefe Einblicke in die Antike und ein Verständnis für deren Relevanz in der heutigen Zeit.

Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
