Master of Science (MSc) in Climate Change and Transformation Science
This interdisciplinary Master's Program focuses on climate change, equipping students to understand and address the challenges associated with climate resilience. Students can specialize in either natural or social sciences while gaining practical experience. The MSc program in Climate Change and Transformation Science focuses on understanding the climate system and its impacts on ecosystems and society. Students specialize in either physical climate sciences or social transformation sciences while gaining an interdisciplinary perspective on climate challenges and solutions.
The program is organized into foundational modules, specialized tracks in either climate science or transformation science, and includes practical interdisciplinary projects. A six-month master thesis allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, potentially in collaboration with external agencies.
Graduates acquire in-depth knowledge in climate change and transformation sciences along with skills in systems science, quantitative methods, and interdisciplinary collaboration. They are trained to tackle complex climate issues from both scientific and societal perspectives.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
