Master of Arts 'MA'
Das Masterstudium Anglistik/Amerikanistik vertieft die Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten, die während des Bachelorstudiums erworben wurden. Es bietet Möglichkeit zur Spezialisierung durch überfakultäre Masterstudien und personalisierte Programme. Die Studierenden erwerben vertiefte Kompetenzen in der Analyse von Literatur und Kulturen.
Im Masterstudium Anglistik/Amerikanistik beschäftigen sich die Studierenden mit der englischen Sprache, Textwissenschaft sowie englischsprachigen Kulturen. Die Themenwahl in Seminaren und Arbeiten ist flexibel und unterstützt die individuelle Entwicklung der Studierenden.
Das Programm ist in vier Semester gegliedert und bietet enge Zusammenarbeit mit Lehrenden, die eine individuelle Forschungsrichtung fördern. Studierende verfolgen eigenständige Forschungsfragen und haben auch die Möglichkeit zur Vernetzung.
Absolvent:innen dieser Studienrichtung erwerben umfassende Kompetenzen in Textanalyse, interkultureller Kommunikation und kritischem Denken. Sie sind in der Lage, komplexe Themen zu bearbeiten und eigenständig Forschungsfragen zu entwickeln.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
