In the Griechisch program at the University of Graz, you study the Greek language with a strong focus on its literature, culture, and historical development from antiquity to modern times. The curriculum includes antik philosophy, religion, and mythology, providing a comprehensive understanding of the cultural context.
The program is structured to include a combination of classroom instruction and practical engagement, allowing for early school contact starting in the second semester. Students must choose at least two subjects or one subject and a specialization, which supports a broad educational framework.
Graduates gain competencies in language proficiency, cultural literacy, and pedagogical skills necessary for teaching Greek at various educational levels. The program emphasizes fachdidaktische (subject-specific didactics) training to prepare students for effective teaching.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
