Das Studium Klassische Philologie an der Universität Graz kombiniert die Sprachen Latein und Griechisch. Studierende setzen sich insbesondere mit der lateinischen und griechischen Literatur sowie deren historischen und kulturellen Kontexten auseinander. Im dritten Semester können Studierende einen sprachlichen Schwerpunkt setzen und ihr Studium durch Erweiterungsfächer individualisieren. Absolventen sind auf zahlreiche karriererelevante Bereiche vorbereitet, darunter Kulturmanagement, journalistische Tätigkeiten und Public Relations.
Die Studierenden studieren alle Aspekte der lateinischen und griechischen Literatur, einschließlich ihrer sprachlichen Strukturen, literarhistorischen Kontexte und der Anwendung philologischer Methoden. Besondere Schwerpunkte können gesetzt werden, je nach Interessensgebieten der Studierenden.
Das Studium erstreckt sich über sechs Semester, wobei die ersten beiden Semester allgemeine Grundlagen in der lateinischen und griechischen Sprache bieten. Im dritten Semester setzen die Studierenden ihren Schwerpunkt und wählen ergänzende Fächer. Praktische Phasen und Projektarbeiten sind ebenfalls Bestandteil des Studienprogramms.
Absolvent:innen erlangen umfassende Kenntnisse in der antiken Literatur und deren Kontexten sowie Fähigkeiten in der Analyse und Interpretation literarischer Texte. Sie entwickeln eine starke Sprach- und Kommunikationskompetenz und sind mit verschiedenen Methoden der Philologie vertraut.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
