Der Bachelorstudiengang Geschichte bietet eine umfassende Ausbildung in historischen Forschungsmethoden. Im Bachelorstudium Geschichte lernst du die wichtigsten Epochen der Geschichte seit der Antike kennen. Das Studium umfasst die Analyse von historischen Quellen und eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit verschiedenen wissenschaftlichen Diskursen.
Das Bachelorstudium dauert 6 Semester und bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über die Geschichte. Die Studierenden haben die Möglichkeit, individuelle Schwerpunkte durch Wahlmodule zu setzen und müssen im Laufe des Studiums Lateinkenntnisse nachweisen.
Absolvent:innen des Studiums erwerben Kompetenzen in der Analyse und Interpretation historischer Abläufe sowie in kritischem Denken und wissenschaftlichem Arbeiten. Diese Fähigkeiten sind entscheidend für die Arbeit in geistes- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Bereichen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
