Der Bachelorstudiengang Germanistik beschäftigt sich mit der deutschen Sprache und Literatur. Studierende analysieren literarische Texte und erforschen sprachwissenschaftliche Fragestellungen. Der Studiengang fördert Interkulturalität sowie kommunikative Kompetenzen.
Im Bachelorstudium Germanistik beschäftigst du dich mit der Struktur und Verwendung der deutschen Sprache sowie mit deutschsprachiger Literatur vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart. Darüber hinaus untersuchst du kommunikative, textuelle, literarische und kulturelle Phänomene mit verschiedenen Methoden und Theorien.
Das Studium ist in sechs Semester unterteilt und beinhaltet eine integrative Grundausbildung in drei Fachbereichen: Deutsche Sprache, Germanistische Mediävistik und Neuere deutschsprachige Literatur. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf einer interdisziplinären Ausrichtung und vielen Wahlmöglichkeiten.
Absolvent:innen erwerben Fähigkeiten in Kommunikation, analytischem Denken und der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit Texten. Sie sind zudem in der Lage, textuelle und kulturelle Phänomene zu untersuchen und komplexe sprachliche Strukturen zu analysieren.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
