The Master's Programme Computer Science offers an advanced study pathway that deepens knowledge in information processing technologies, robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Students will gain practical experience through research and industrial projects, particularly in areas like drone delivery systems and game development. The program focuses on both foundational and applied aspects of computer science, integrating theory with real-world applications.
In the master's degree program Computer Science, students expand their fundamental knowledge in systematic and automated information processing technologies. The curriculum covers a range of topics, including information security, robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, equipping students with both theoretical and practical skills.
The program is organized over four semesters and includes a major, a minor, a free-choice subject, and a master’s thesis. Students also have opportunities to engage in research and industrial projects, enhancing their practical experience throughout their studies.
Graduates develop abstract and model-oriented thinking skills and can apply their knowledge in industry, business, and scientific research. They are capable of designing, operating, and assessing complex hardware and software systems and conducting advanced research.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
