Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing. or DI), equivalent to the Master of Science (MSc)
In Europe’s only Master’s programme in Green Process Engineering, students will explore how to design a sustainable circular economy. This programme focuses on innovative solutions using chemistry, biotechnology, and engineering to tackle global challenges. With a practice-oriented approach and strong connections to industry, graduates are positioned for successful careers in various sectors, from energy generation to environmental technology.
Students study (environmental) chemical and process engineering, develop energy technologies, and explore green chemistry applications. Emphasis is placed on renewable resources and efficient resource management.
The program lasts for 4 semesters and involves both theoretical and practical components. Students will engage in compulsory and elective modules, culminating in a research-based master's thesis.
Graduates acquire skills in innovative process development and resource management, preparing them for careers in the bioeconomy. They gain competencies in chemical engineering and sustainability practices.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
