The Master's Programme in Civil Engineering Sciences and Structural Engineering equips students with the skills needed to design and dimension concrete, steel, and timber structures. It emphasizes innovative materials, such as Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), and provides a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between civil engineering, politics, and the environment. Graduates will explore sustainable construction and advanced research methodologies, preparing them for various roles in the industry.
Students will study the design and optimization of structures using various materials. The program covers advanced modelling techniques and analytical methods to assess structural stability.
The program consists of three compulsory modules in the first two semesters, followed by elective modules and a master's project. Students complete their master's thesis in the final semester, based on the modules chosen.
Graduates will possess a strong technical foundation alongside skills in social and economic aspects of civil engineering. They will be prepared to tackle complex engineering challenges and collaborate across disciplines.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
