Master of Science (MSc)
The Master program in Nursing Science is structured according to the Bologna Process with an emphasis on research, evidence-based practice, and the implementation of research findings. It enables students to engage deeply with nursing science and equips them with scientific knowledge and research methodologies for practical application. Graduates are well-prepared for roles in health and social sectors, including hospitals and research institutions.
The program focuses on advanced medical science with an emphasis on understanding complex health issues and promoting holistic approaches to healthcare. Topics include innovative treatment methods, biomedical research, and public health initiatives.
Organized over a series of semesters, the program incorporates theoretical coursework along with practical training. Students have opportunities to engage in internships and research projects, culminating in a thesis presentation.
Graduates acquire competencies in critical thinking, research methodology, and clinical practice, preparing them for roles in various healthcare settings. They develop skills in communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
