Master of Arts (MA)
The Master's Programme Jazz (Instrumental/Vocals) focuses on advancing students' artistic skills and competencies in Jazz performance. The program is designed to develop musical artistry through both performance and academic study. Graduates are well-equipped with the necessary skills to pursue careers in various music sectors, including performance, education, and composition.
Students study advanced concepts in Jazz performance, theory, and composition. Emphasis is placed on improvisation and ensemble playing within the genre.
The program is structured across four semesters, involving practical training, theoretical coursework, and culminating in a Master's thesis performance. Internships and real-world practice are encouraged.
Graduates gain advanced performance skills, a deep understanding of Jazz theory, and valuable experiences in live performance settings. They are capable of pursuing professional opportunities in diverse musical contexts.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
