Das Bachelorstudium Jazzkomposition und Arrangement bietet eine umfassende Ausbildung in der Tradition des Jazz sowie in zeitgenössischen Stilen und Technologien. Der ganzheitliche Ansatz fördert Interaktion und Improvisation, um die künstlerische Persönlichkeit der Studierenden zu entwickeln. Absolventen besitzen die Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse, um erfolgreich als Jazzkomponisten und Arrangeure zu arbeiten.
Der Studieninhalt umfasst Themen wie Jazzgeschichte, verschiedene Improvisationstechniken, Kompositionen und Arrangements für Jazzensemble. Studierende beschäftigen sich intensiv mit der musikalischen Analyse und der Entwicklung eigener kreativer Werke.
Das Bachelorstudium ist in sechs Semester unterteilt und erstreckt sich über verschiedene Phasen, die von Theorie- und Praxisunterricht bis hin zu Projektarbeiten und Praktika reichen. Absolventen müssen eine Bachelorarbeit anfertigen.
Die Absolventen erlangen umfassende Kenntnisse über Jazzkomposition und Arrangement, die Fähigkeit zur kreativen Improvisation sowie ein tiefes Verständnis für zeitgenössische musikalische Stile und Technologien. Sie sind darauf vorbereitet, in der Musikbranche innovativ zu arbeiten.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
