Bachelor of Arts (BA)
The Bachelor's Programme in Musicology offers a deep understanding of various aspects of music, including world music, jazz, and popular music. Jointly offered by the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and the University of Graz, it combines humanities and cultural sciences. Students will engage in both theoretical and practical studies, laying a foundation for careers in diverse fields associated with music and culture.
The program covers a broad range of topics such as music theory, historical musicology, and the aesthetics of music. Students delve into music's socio-cultural dimensions through analysis and critical assessment. Practical skills in music performance and composition are also integrated.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
