The SEEP Master of Science (MSc) Program provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to critically analyse the combined social, ecological and economic crises facing humanity today. The program explores policy approaches and alternatives regarding major issues like climate change and sustainable development. It promotes an interdisciplinary understanding necessary for addressing interactions across social, ecological, and economic systems.
Students study themes including climate policy, social transformation, and ecological economics, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches and practical applications.
The program spans four semesters, beginning with foundational courses, followed by specialization options in the second semester and culminating in a thesis in the final semester. Internships and service learning are integrated into the curriculum.
Graduates gain advanced skills in policy analysis and research, interdisciplinary understanding of socio-ecological issues, and hands-on experience through community engagement. They are prepared for academic and professional roles in diverse sectors.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
