Master of Science (MSc)
The Master-Programme in Economics focuses on international trade theory and monetary economics. It emphasizes understanding empirical implications and real-world policy applications. The program prepares students to address economic questions relevant to globalization and finance.
Students will study various economic models related to trade and finance, including Ricardo and Heckscher-Ohlin models. Emphasis is placed on globalization impacts such as FDI and migration.
The program spans over four semesters, incorporating lectures, presentations, and tests. Students will engage in practical projects and a thesis during the final semesters.
Graduates will develop strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of international economics and trade theory. They will be well-equipped to tackle global economic challenges and policy issues.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
