In the Master's program in Socioeconomics, students delve into complex themes such as social inequality, ecological destruction, political participation, and unregulated markets. The focus is on interconnecting various disciplines, theories, and methods to develop a comprehensive understanding of societal and economic challenges.
The program is structured over four semesters, including a combination of foundational courses and practical research experiences. It features both theoretical coursework and applied research labs, culminating in a master's thesis.
Graduates of the Socioeconomics program acquire critical analytical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge, enabling them to address pressing social and economic issues effectively. They become adept at employing empirical and theoretical approaches to problem solving.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
