Master of Science (MSc)
The Master in International Economics focuses on core topics such as trade theory, environmental impact, and development. Students gain a sound knowledge of main theories of international trade and the ability to apply them to real-world issues. The program emphasizes the causes and consequences of trade policies and assesses trade's relevance to the environment and income distribution.
Students study international trade theories, economic policies, and their implications for the environment and inequality. The curriculum covers various models, including Ricardo, Heckscher-Ohlin, and trade policies.
The program is organized over four semesters, culminating in a final thesis. It includes lectures, mid-term tests, and group assignments that encourage collaboration and practical application of theories.
Graduates will acquire analytical skills to evaluate economic theories and apply them to real-world scenarios. They will gain competencies in economic policy analysis and an understanding of international trade dynamics.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
