The Business Law bachelor's program prepares students for legal challenges in the business world. It covers a wide range of topics, including corporate law, contract law, and international trade law. Graduates will find themselves qualified for positions in various organizations, providing legal advice or working in compliance.
In the Wirtschaftsrecht program, students focus on legal sciences and gain knowledge in business principles. Topics include private law, public law, and international law, as well as economics and statistics, which together equip students with interdisciplinary expertise.
The program follows a Bologna model, consisting of a 6-semester Bachelor phase. It includes an introductory phase, a common body of knowledge, and a main study phase, culminating in a thesis.
Graduates develop strong competencies in legal analysis and practical application of business law. They possess analytical skills, ethical judgment, and a solid understanding of economic frameworks that influence legal decisions.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
