Bachelor of Science (BSc)
The Bachelor in Business and Economics is an interdisciplinary program focused on business administration and economics, taught entirely in English. Students acquire comprehensive knowledge in both fields with strong analytical skills. The program prepares graduates for diverse international careers, enabling them to tackle complex economic, social, and ecological challenges. Graduates can pursue further studies abroad or enter the workforce across various sectors, including private, public, and non-profit organizations.
In this program, students engage with core business topics including economics, marketing, and finance. They will develop strong analytical and quantitative skills that are crucial for decision-making in the business environment.
The study program is structured over six semesters, with a combination of lectures, seminars, and projects. Students will also undertake an internship and are required to complete a bachelor's thesis in their final semester.
Graduates acquire a solid theoretical foundation in business administration and economics while developing practical skills applicable to real-world scenarios. They are trained to undertake critical thinking and effective problem-solving in diverse business contexts.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
