Im Bachelorstudium Slawistik erwerben Sie eine fundierte Sprachausbildung sowie umfassende philologische Kenntnisse zu den slawischen Sprachen. Das Studium bietet Einblicke in die Vielfalt slawischer Kulturen, von den Ursprüngen bis zur Gegenwart. Absolvent*innen sind gut vorbereitet auf eine Karriere im Bibliotheks-, Verlags- und Medienwesen sowie in der Diplomatie und der Kulturverwaltung.
In diesem Programm studieren Sie eine oder mehrere slawische Sprachen, deren Linguistik sowie die dazugehörige Literatur und Kultur. Thematische Schwerpunkte sind unter anderem Sprachgeschichte und -theorie sowie kulturelle Diversität in den slawischen Ländern.
Das Studium ist in Pflichtmodule und Wahlfächer gegliedert. Es umfasst eine Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase sowie zwei Bachelorarbeiten, die eine tiefgehende Analyse erfordern. Praktika und Forschungsprojekte sind ebenfalls Bestandteil des Programms.
Graduierte des Programms erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse der slawischen Sprachen und sind in der Lage, kulturelle Zusammenhänge zu analysieren. Sie verfügen über starke Sprachkompetenzen und sind auf Berufe in Bildung, Medien und Kultur vorbereitet.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
