Das Bachelorstudium Musikwissenschaft vermittelt ein breites Überblickswissen aus den einzelnen Teilbereichen der Musikwissenschaft, einschließlich älterer und neuerer europäischer Musikgeschichte, außereuropäischer Musik und Musiktheorie. Die Studierenden erwerben grundlegende Qualifikationen in Editionstechnik, Schall- und Bildaufzeichnung und Bibliothekswesen. Das Programm bereitet auf wissenschaftliche sowie außerwissenschaftliche Berufsfelder vor, insbesondere im Medienbetrieb und Museumswesen.
Das Studium umfasst die Analyse von Musikwissenschaft durch verschiedene Module, die sich mit Musiktheorie, Geschichte und Ethnomusikologie befassen. Studierende lernen sowohl klassische als auch moderne Musiktraditionen kennen.
Das Programm ist auf 6 Semester ausgelegt und umfasst Pflichtmodule, Wahlmodule sowie die Anfertigung von zwei Bachelorarbeiten. Zu den wesentlichen Phasen gehört die Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase.
Absolventen verfügen über umfassende Kenntnisse in der Musikwissenschaft sowie über praktische Fähigkeiten in Bereichen wie Editionstechnik. Sie sind in der Lage, verschiedene Musiktraditionen zu analysieren und kritisch zu reflektieren.

Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
