This Master's program deepens the content of the Bachelor studies in Law and Business with a focus on economic topics. The increasing complexity of legal and economic questions requires knowledge from both disciplines. It prepares students for either doctoral studies or scientific professional training. Specializations offered include Accounting and Taxation, Financial Management, Financial Market Law, Financial Services, and Human Resource Management. The program also enables direct access to a doctoral program in legal or economic sciences depending on the topic choice for the thesis.
Students explore both legal and economic disciplines. Topics emphasize analytical skills and practical application in business and legal contexts. Specializations allow deeper dives into finance-related subjects.
The program consists of four semesters, each focusing on various topics aligned with students' specialties. Students also complete a Master's thesis and internships.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
