Master of Science in Engineering (MSc)
This program explores the relationship between users and computers, focusing on designing user-friendly systems and interfaces. Students analyze user behaviors and apply findings to improve technology interaction. Graduates are equipped for roles in usability research, UX design, and interface engineering.
The program covers how humans interact with various types of interfaces, emphasizing principles from design, computer science, and psychology. It focuses on the research, design, and improvement of user experiences and interactions with technical systems.
The program spans four semesters and includes both scientific and application-oriented training. It features modules on design thinking, usability, and user experience, and offers an optional internship in industry.
Graduates gain extensive knowledge in design methodologies, qualitative measures, and management of user experience. They develop competencies in creating innovative interaction modes and addressing future digital challenges.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
