Im Bachelorstudium Politikwissenschaft beschäftigen Sie sich mit politischen AkteurInnen, Institutionen und Entscheidungsprozessen. Der Studiengang vermittelt Fähigkeiten zur empirischen wissenschaftlichen Analyse und die Entwicklung innovativer Forschungsfragen. Studierende lernen, gesellschaftliche Problemstellungen zu erfassen und praktische Lösungsstrategien zu erarbeiten.
Students study various themes in political science, including political actors like parties and interest groups, as well as institutions including parliaments and the EU. The program includes analysis of policymaking in areas such as climate policy and economic policy.
The program is organized over 6 semesters, culminating in a thesis. It includes lectures, seminars, and practical components to foster empirical analysis skills.
Graduates gain competencies in research analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to effectively communicate complex political issues. They are prepared for responsible roles in various political and administrative settings.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
