Bachelor of Religious Education – University (B.Rel.Ed.Univ.)
This Bachelor's program provides a comprehensive overview of key aspects of the Christian faith and its manifestations in history and the present. It also includes an introduction to other religions, spiritualities, and worldviews. Students learn various scientific methods for analyzing texts from the Bible and tradition, enhancing their reasoning and judgment skills in church and societal discussions. Graduates can accompany individuals in their questions of faith, meaning, and happiness with the necessary teaching practice through the university's own 'School of Education'.
Students study the core elements of Christianity while also exploring the fundamentals of other religions and secular worldviews. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and argumentation in theological and ethical discussions.
The program is organized over six semesters, culminating in a Bachelor's thesis. It includes both theoretical courses and practical teaching experiences, delivered in a variety of formats to enhance learning.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
