The Bachelor of Education in Russian focuses on teaching the Russian language, literature, and culture. Students will engage with the history and structure of the Russian language while learning various teaching methods. The program includes several practical teaching internships, preparing students for a career in education. No prior knowledge of Russian is needed to enroll.
The Russian program teaches the Russian language and explores Russian literature and culture, as well as the history and system of the Russian language. It emphasizes different teaching methods to effectively convey these concepts to students.
The program is organized over eight semesters for the Bachelor's degree and four semesters for the Master's degree, incorporating practical school internships to prepare students for teaching roles in Austrian schools. No prior knowledge of Russian is required for enrollment.
Graduates develop strong intercultural competencies alongside proficiency in the Russian language, enabling them to teach effectively in diverse educational settings. They gain a comprehensive understanding of teaching methodologies for language instruction.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
