Im Masterstudiengang Wissenschaft, Technik & Gesellschaft wird untersucht, wie wissenschaftliche und technologische Entwicklungen gesellschaftliche Strukturen verändern. Die Studierenden analysieren deren Einfluss auf soziale Praktiken und entwickeln Strategien für innovative Ansätze in der Forschung. Karrieremöglichkeiten sind in Forschungseinrichtungen, politischer Beratung und in der Lehre zu finden.
In the Master’s program in Science, Technology & Society, students explore the interrelationships between scientific and technological innovations and their societal implications. Key focus areas include empirical research practices, the governance of innovation, and the cultural and ethical aspects of technology.
The program spans four semesters, requiring 120 ECTS credits. Students will engage in compulsory modules that culminate in a master’s thesis, with opportunities for practical experience through internships in various sectors.
Graduates will develop competencies in analyzing complex societal issues related to science and technology, applying research methodologies, and engaging in strategic planning and project management. Skills in science communication and ethical reflection will also be emphasized.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
