Der Masterstudiengang Angewandte Kulturwissenschaft und Transkulturelle Studien konzentriert sich auf die Analyse kultureller Prozesse und deren gesellschaftliche Bedeutung. Studierende entwickeln interdisziplinäre Kompetenzen in Kulturanalyse, Vermittlung und Forschung. Der Studiengang fördert kritisches Denken und umfangreiche Kenntnisse über kulturelle Diversität, um Absolventen auf eine Vielzahl von Berufsfeldern vorzubereiten, darunter Medien, Bildung und Kulturmanagement.
Im Studium werden zentrale Themen der Kulturwissenschaft vertieft, wobei der Fokus auf der Analyse von Kultur als dynamischem Prozess liegt. Studierende beschäftigen sich mit Konzepten von Identität, Globalisierung und Transkulturalität.
Das Studium ist in vier Semester unterteilt, in denen Module zu Kulturtheorien, interkultureller Kommunikation und methodspezifischen Fähigkeiten angeboten werden. Das letzte Semester widmet sich der Masterarbeit und einem einschlägigen Praktikum, um praktische Erfahrungen zu sammeln.
Absolventen erwerben Fähigkeiten in der kritischen Analyse kultureller Phänomene, interdisziplinäres Denken, sowie Kompetenzen in Kommunikation und Projektmanagement. Sie sind gut gerüstet für eine Karriere in der Kulturvermittlung und Medien.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
