Das Bachelorstudium Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaft widmet sich den Rahmenbedingungen, unter denen Erziehung und Bildung über die Lebensspanne stattfinden. In the Bachelor program of Educational Science, students explore diverse themes related to learning and education across the lifespan. Key areas of focus include educational experiences, pedagogical processes, and the societal implications of education.
The program is structured over six semesters, incorporating a blend of compulsory subjects and electives, alongside 450 hours of practical work. Students are encouraged to select a minor of 30 ECTS credits, allowing them to tailor their studies to personal interests.
Graduates gain essential competencies in scientific methods, educational theory, and practical application. They develop skills for working inclusively and effectively in diverse educational environments.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
