Das Bachelorstudium Geschichte ermöglicht es den Studierenden, ein tiefes Verständnis für geschichtliche Abläufe zu entwickeln und historische Ereignisse zu analysieren. Der Studiengang ist praxisnah und verbindet theoretische Grundlagen mit Exkursionen und Praktika. Zudem bieten ihm eine breite Perspektive auf verschiedene kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Themen, und bereitet die Studierenden optimal auf verschiedenste Karrieremöglichkeiten vor.
Studierende im Bachelorstudium Geschichte lernen verschiedene Epochen der Geschichte kennen, von der Antike bis zur Neuzeit. Schwerpunkte liegen auf der Analyse historischer Quellen und der Vermittlung von historischem Wissen. Zudem werden regionale Aspekte, insbesondere der Alpen-Adria-Raum, thematisiert.
Der Studienverlauf ist in mehrere Phasen untergliedert, einschließlich einer studieneingangs- und orientierungsphase (STEOP). Die Studierenden absolvieren Pflicht- und Wahlfächer und schließen das Studium mit einer Bachelorarbeit ab.
Die Absolvent*innen erwerben analytische Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit historischen Daten, sowie Kompetenzen in der wissenschaftlichen Aufarbeitung und Präsentation von historischen Themen. Zusätzlich stärken sie Soft Skills wie Teamarbeit und Projektmanagement.

Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation

Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
