Master of Science
In the Master's Degree Programme in Experimental and Empirical Economics, students develop academic thinking required for a high-profile career in research, business, finance, and the public sector. The program focuses on empirical economics, data science, and behavioral and experimental economics, examining individual decision-making, corporate strategies, and government policies. Graduates gain specialized knowledge in economic analysis, preparing them for various roles, including executive positions in governmental organizations and freelance consulting.
The program deepens knowledge in economics, advancing students' understanding of economic analysis. It also prepares them for leadership roles by enhancing their decision-making capabilities.
The program is organized over four semesters, culminating in a Master's Thesis that applies learned theories and methods to current issues.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
