The Master's Degree Programme in Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences at the University of Innsbruck provides students with an in-depth understanding of atmospheric processes over mountainous terrain. In the Master’s Degree Programme in Atmospheric Sciences, students study, model, and observe the Earth’s atmosphere along with its interactions with the hydrosphere, biosphere, cryosphere, and human activities. The curriculum encompasses interdisciplinary fields such as physics, computer sciences, chemistry, and data science, focusing on atmospheric processes, climate change, and applied meteorology.
The program is organized over 4 semesters and awards 120 ECTS-Credits. It includes a combination of theoretical coursework, practical labs, and fieldwork, culminating in a thesis project that integrates learned concepts.
Graduates gain specialized knowledge and skills in atmospheric and cryospheric sciences, equipping them to integrate scientific methods with practical applications in meteorology. They develop competencies in interpreting weather data and using advanced observation technologies.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
