Das Bachelorstudium Umweltingenieurwissenschaften vermittelt Studierenden das Wissen, das sie benötigen, um lebenswerte Städte mit nachhaltigem Verkehr und klimafreundlichen Gebäuden zu gestalten. Die Studierenden lernen, ökologische Lösungen zur Ressourcenschonung zu entwickeln. Das Studium fokussiert sich auf die Planung, Konstruktion und Betrieb von umweltfreundlichen Projekten, wobei technische Sorgfalt und Nachhaltigkeit im Vordergrund stehen.
Studierende beschäftigen sich mit Biologie, Chemie und Thermodynamik. Weitere Themen sind die nachhaltige Planung, Wasserbau und Verkehrsplanung.
Der Studienverlauf umfasst eine Kombination aus Pflicht- und Wahlfächern über 6 Semester. Es wird ein Praktikum sowie eine Bachelorarbeit absolviert.
Absolvent:innen des Studiengangs verfügen über umfangreiche Kenntnisse im Umweltengineering und geeignete Fähigkeiten für die praktische Anwendung in der Industrie und im öffentlichen Sektor. Sie sind talentiert in der Problemlösung und können interdisziplinär arbeiten.
