Das Bachelorstudium Wirtschaft, Gesundheits- und Sporttourismus vereint wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Grundlagen mit dem Fokus auf den Tourismussektor. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, theoretisch erlernte Inhalte mit praktischen Anwendungen zu verknüpfen, insbesondere in den Bereichen Gesundheit und Sport. Der Studiengang bereitet auf eine Vielzahl von Karrieremöglichkeiten innerhalb des Tourismussektors vor, auch auf internationalen Ebenen.
The program combines solid economic education with a clear focus on tourism, specifically within the context of health and sports tourism. Students engage with theories applicable to real-world situations, emphasizing sustainable practices and innovative concepts in alpine tourism.
The program spans 6 semesters and is organized in a modular format, allowing for significant engagement with practical studies and projects. Students are required to complete a thesis in their final semester, alongside practical placements in relevant sectors.
Graduates will acquire competencies in understanding and applying economic theories and methodologies within the tourism context. They will be skilled at developing sustainable tourism strategies and managing relevant services effectively, critically analyzing economic, ecological, and ethical implications.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
