Master of Science (MSc)
The Master's Programme in Automation and Robotic Systems focuses on the study of automation technologies and robots. Students will learn to design, analyze, and optimize systems that respond intelligently to their environments. The program is structured to provide deep insight into sensor technology, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence. Students study key topics in automation, robotics, mechatronics, and intelligent systems. They are trained in design and optimization of complex systems, as well as human-machine interaction and ethical considerations.
The programme is organized into four semesters with mandatory modules, selectable modules, and a final master thesis. Students can choose courses freely while following a recommended schedule to ensure proper progression throughout the program.
Graduates will gain competencies in system theory, measurement technology, robotics, and artificial intelligence. They will be equipped to tackle challenges in automation and robotics across various industries.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
