The Mechanical Engineering - Management Bachelor's Programme blends classical mechanical engineering principles with essential business knowledge. It covers mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, and manufacturing technology alongside business administration. This interdisciplinary approach equips students for either a master’s program or versatile careers that bridge engineering and management.
Im Studium werden mathematisch-naturwissenschaftliche, ingenieurwissenschaftliche und wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Themen behandelt. Der Fokus liegt auf der Verbindung von technischem Wissen mit betriebswirtschaftlichen Aspekten.
Das Studium organisiert sich in sechs Semester, die sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Elemente umfassen. Es beinhaltet Labore, Gruppenarbeiten und kleinere Projekte, die eine praxisnahe Ausbildung fördern.
Die Graduierenden erlangen umfassende Kompetenzen in den Ingenieur- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften, wodurch sie interdisziplinär qualifiziert werden. Dies befähigt sie, technische Herausforderungen zu verstehen und wirtschaftlich zu bewerten.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
