Der Studiengang Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik kombiniert technische und betriebswirtschaftliche Inhalte. Die Studierenden erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung, Datenverarbeitung und der Anwendung in verschiedenen Geschäftsfeldern. Absolventen können als IT-Consultants oder Softwareentwickler arbeiten und sind gut auf die Herausforderungen in der digitalen Welt vorbereitet.
Studierende des Studiengangs Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik erlernen die Grundlagen der Programmierung, Systemarchitektur und betriebswirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen für IT-Projekte. Der Fokus liegt auf der praktischen Anwendung des gelernten Wissens.
Das Studium ist modular aufgebaut und in sechs Semester gegliedert. In Form von Projekten, Seminaren und Praktika erfolgt eine enge Verzahnung von Theorie und Praxis. Studierende müssen am Ende des Studiums eine Bachelorarbeit verfassen.
Mit einem Abschluss in Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik verfügen Absolventen über vertiefte Kenntnisse in informationstechnologischen und wirtschaftlichen Disziplinen. Sie sind in der Lage, innovative IT-Lösungen zu entwerfen und erfolgreich im interdisziplinären Team zu arbeiten.

Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
