Im Studiengang Geodäsie und Geoinformation dreht sich alles um den Planet Erde: Wie lässt sich die Form unseres Planeten genau bestimmen? Die Geodäsie misst und beschreibt die Erde und verwandelt diese Daten in anschauliche Karten und Modelle. Ob in der Navigation, beim Klimaschutz oder im Bauwesen, geodätische Methoden spielen überall eine Rolle. Das Studium vermittelt Wissen in Mathematik, Physik und Informatik.
Studierende beschäftigen sich mit den Themen der Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Kartographie. Schwerpunkte liegen auf der Analyse von Daten zur Messung der Erdoberfläche und deren Veränderungen im Laufe der Zeit.
Der Studiengang ist modular aufgebaut und umfasst eine sechs-semestrige Dauer. In den ersten Semestern werden grundlegende Kenntnisse vermittelt, gefolgt von spezialisierten Modulen und einem abschließenden Projekt oder Thesis.
Absolventen verfügen über umfassendes Wissen in Geodäsie und Geoinformation, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, komplexe Daten zu bemessen, zu analysieren und in Anwendungen umzusetzen. Sie sind zudem kompentent im Umgang mit modernen Technologien und bringen sowohl technische als auch analytische Fähigkeiten mit.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
