Das Masterstudium Gesang ermöglicht den Studierenden, ihre im Bachelorstudium erworbenen Kompetenzen zu vertiefen. Der Fokus liegt auf der intensiven Arbeit an Opernrollen und Oratorienpartien, was den Studierenden zur Bühnenreife verhilft. Zusätzlich erhalten die Studierenden die Gelegenheit, ein umfangreiches Liedrepertoire zu erarbeiten und sich somit umfassende Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse in der Gesangspraxis anzueignen.
Das Studium umfasst sowohl künstlerische als auch wissenschaftliche Inhalte. Studierende analysieren und interpretieren musikalische Kunstwerke aller Epochen kritisch. Zudem sind praxisnahe Lehrveranstaltungen ein zentraler Bestandteil.
Das viersemestrige Studium ist modular aufgebaut, wobei die Module aufeinander aufbauen und verschiedene Aspekte des Gesangs und der Musik darstellen.
Absolventen sind in der Lage, professionell zu performen und besitzen vertiefte Kenntnisse über Stilistik und Repertoire. Sie sind befähigt, künstlerische und soziale Verantwortung in ihren Tätigkeiten zu übernehmen.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
