The Viola da Gamba program focuses on the rich and diverse repertoire of this instrument popular in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Students receive comprehensive technical training, develop body awareness, and reflect upon various historical interpretations while becoming familiar with ensemble and chamber music work. The aim of the program is to prepare students for a career as performers, chamber musicians, and orchestral musicians, with an emphasis on artistic maturity and self-sufficiency.
Studierende lernen die Viola da Gamba in ihrer historischen und zeitgenössischen Funktion kennen. Der Studieninhalt umfasst sowohl praxisorientierende als auch theoretische Aspekte der Musik. Die Studierenden werden auf die künstlerische Praxis im Ensemble und als Solisten vorbereitet.
Das Studium ist modular gegliedert und erstreckt sich über acht Semester. Es beinhaltet praktische Studien, theoretische Grundlagen, sowie eine Bachelorarbeit am Ende der Studienzeit. Zudem können die Studierenden ein Auslandssemester wahrnehmen.
Absolventen bringen ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in der musikalischen Aufführung, sowie umfassende Kenntnisse der Musiktheorie mit. Darüber hinaus haben sie die Fähigkeit zur kritischen Reflexion erlernt und können in verschiedenen musikalischen Kontexten bestehen.

Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
