Das Bachelorstudium Horn fokussiert sich auf die Entwicklung und Professionalisierung musikalischer und technischer Fähigkeiten durch Auseinandersetzung mit Standard-Solorepertoire, Kammermusik und Orchesterspiel. Die Studierenden werden auf Hornwettbewerbe in ganz Europa vorbereitet. Die praxisorientierte und wissenschaftlich fundierte Berufsvorbildung führt zu Fähigkeiten in kritischer Reflexion und Selbständigkeit in der künstlerischen Arbeit.
Das Studium umfasst Themen wie musikalische Interpretation, Ensemblearbeit und die Entwicklung individueller künstlerischer Antworten auf musikalische Herausforderungen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf dem Spiel im Orchester und die Vorbereitung auf Wettbewerbe.
Das Bachelorstudium ist modular aufgebaut und umfasst insgesamt acht Semester. Jedes Semester beinhaltet verschiedene Module, die inhaltlich aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Die Studierenden haben die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen ihrer Wahlfächer individuelle Schwerpunkte zu setzen, und ein Auslandssemester wird empfohlen.
Die Absolventen erwerben umfassende Fähigkeiten im instrumentalen Spiel sowie in der künstlerischen und wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit Musik. Sie sind in der Lage, selbstständig und kreativ im Bereich der Blasmusik tätig zu sein und haben Erfahrungen in der Leitung eigener Projekte gesammelt.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
