Das Bachelorstudium Instrumental- & Gesangspädagogik für Basstuba an der Universität Mozarteum Innsbruck zielt darauf ab, künstlerische, pädagogische und wissenschaftliche Kompetenzen zu vermitteln. Der Studiengang bereitet die Studierenden umfassend auf die Lehrbefähigung für Musikschulen vor und umfasst eine Vielseitigkeit in den künstlerischen sowie musikpraktischen Tätigkeiten. Absolventen haben die Möglichkeit, Musikunterricht an verschiedenen Bildungseinrichtungen anzubieten und sich in verschiedenen musikpädagogischen Feldern zu etablieren.
Im Studium wird Musiktheorie, Musikwissenschaft sowie vielfältige praktische Musikalitäten vermittelt. Neben dem Hauptinstrument stehen Fächer wie Musikpädagogik und Didaktik auf dem Lehrplan. Verschiedene Wahlpflichtmodule ermöglichen den Studierenden, individuelle Schwerpunkte zu setzen.
Das Studium erstreckt sich über 8 Semester und umfasst praktische, theoretische und künstlerische Module. Die Studierenden durchlaufen eine Vielzahl an Prüfungen, darunter künstlerische Prüfungen und die Erstellung einer Bachelorarbeit. Es werden auch Vorbereitungskurse für die Zulassungsprüfung angeboten.
Die Absolventen erwerben umfassende Kenntnisse im Bereich der Musikpädagogik und -vermittlung, die es ihnen ermöglichen, eigenständig Musikunterricht zu erteilen und in verschiedenen musikbezogenen Berufen tätig zu sein. Sie entwickeln auch die Fähigkeit, musikalische Gruppen zu leiten und zu fördern.
