Joint Master's in Responsible Consumption and Production (RCP)
The master's program offers a deeper understanding of resource supply, materials, and European business strategy. It includes collaborative research opportunities with established universities. The interdisciplinary approach prepares students for high-level roles in research and management within the fields of engineering and sustainability.
In the New Science and Technology master's program, students study responsible consumption and production through three core specialisation tracks: Resource Supply, Materials, and European Business Strategy & Management. The curriculum encompasses topics such as sustainable resource sourcing, material properties, and strategies for efficient corporate structures.
The program is structured into mobility phases, requiring students to spend at least one semester at a partner university, earning a minimum of 30 ECTS credits during this time. Students will also complete the majority of their coursework at their home university, focusing on selected specialisation modules based on their interests and career goals.
Graduates will gain competencies in sustainability, innovation, and international teamwork, preparing them for impactful roles in various sectors. They will develop skills in resource management, material development, and strategic business operations oriented towards responsible practices.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
