Master of Science (MSc)
The Master's program in Environmental and Climate Protection Technology focuses on designing sustainable processes and technologies that mitigate environmental impacts. Students study climate science, environmental engineering, and policy. Graduates are equipped for roles in sustainability consulting and environmental management.
In the Master's program in Environmental and Climate Protection Engineering, students focus on topics such as industrial sustainability, climate protection, and waste management. They explore chemical and biological processes for CO2 utilization and renewable energy production, equipping themselves with the skills to optimize technical processes while minimizing environmental impact.
The program is structured over four semesters, building upon knowledge acquired in prior undergraduate studies. It includes practical projects and research topics, allowing students to choose between two specializations: Climate Protection and Process Engineering or Environmental and Waste Engineering.
Graduates of this program gain competencies in plant engineering, process simulation, and sustainable design. They develop a comprehensive understanding of the interactions between technology and the environment, preparing them to create efficient and eco-friendly engineering solutions.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
