The Doctoral Programme of Applied Medical Science in Public Health is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for independent and collaborative research in the field. This multidisciplinary program focuses on understanding the relationship between social, environmental, and occupational factors on health outcomes. Through a combination of theoretical training and practical experience, graduates will be prepared to contribute to public health initiatives and to apply research findings in real-world settings.
Students study the intersection of medical and social sciences to understand health and disease. Emphasis is placed on analyzing the historical and current impacts of various factors on public health and developing preventive measures.
The program is structured over 6 semesters, integrating scientific研究，实践和指导. It includes introductory lectures, journal clubs, and practical seminars to reinforce learning.
Graduates gain competencies in scientific and practical methodologies, enabling them to advance professional practices and engage in application-oriented research for public health improvement.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
