This program is aimed at fostering understanding and research in the molecular mechanisms of human health and disease. Students will acquire practical skills through hands-on laboratory work as well as theoretical knowledge in various disciplines. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in healthcare, research, or further academic paths.
Students study fundamental topics in molecular biology, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic approaches. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on laboratory experience and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for research.
The program is organized over three years, with taught modules in the first two years followed by a research project and thesis in the final year. Students engage in both theoretical learning and practical lab work throughout the program.
Graduates develop strong analytical and laboratory skills, critical thinking, and the ability to conduct independent research. They are well-prepared for employment or further studies in health-related fields.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
